FISHING KAYAK HIRE

Single and double kayak options for half, full and multi day available.

Discover fishing in the Coromandel Peninsula where you can explore unlimited coastline, harbours, mussel farms and off-shore islands. Coromandel is well known for great fishing and the kayak is an excellent way to target fish.

Species on offer: snapper, kahawai, trevally, john dory, gurnard, kingfish and more.

Single fishing kayaks include: Quality Ocean Kayak offering top performance specs and design. The kayak is fitted out with seat, anchoring system and your choice of anchor (3 options available) paddle, spare paddle, life jacket, rod holders, insulated catch bag, dry bag, marine map, gaff or net, rod and paddle leashes.

Double fishing kayaks include: Quality Ocean Kayak offering top performance specs and design. The kayak is fitted out with seats, anchoring system and your choice of anchor (3 options available) paddle, spare paddle, life jackets, rod holders, insulated catch bag, dry bag, marine map, Gaff or Net, rod and paddle leashes.

Optional Extras

Fish Finder available for experienced kayak anglers - $30 per half or full day

Kayaking apparel to keep you dry during colder times and includes: dry pants, dry top (long sleeve), gloves, booties.

Pick up and delivery service available from $20 (conditions apply)

Trailer for Hire from $30 (up to 6 kayaks): If you have a tow bar then this is a great option, especially if wanting to go exploring further away from our location within Coromandel Township.

Additional Information

We can advise you on where to find the fish! Its our aim to make sure you have the best chance of landing fish.

Kayaks can be delivered to a launch location however participants need to supply their own transport to the designated area (usually about 10-15 minutes from our shop and booking office).

If you want to transport the kayaks yourself then an approved roof rack or trailer is required. We reserve the right to refuse if not up to standard.

What to bring: Personal - Sunglasses, hat, suitable clothing (quick dry), water, snack bars, sun screen and personal medications. Chilly bin with ice, fishing rod/reel, tackle, bait and knife. (An extensive range of lures, softbaits, jigs and other tackle is available through our store)
